Surfing

Growing up in Panama, surrounded by both the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic, I developed a deep connection with the sea from an early age. Being constantly surrounded by waves and coastal culture naturally led me to fall in love with the ocean. Influenced by my older brother, I learned how to surf, and over time, that passion evolved into a creative way of expressing myself through photography and filmmaking in the water.

For more than 10 years, I’ve dedicated myself to capturing surf culture, ocean landscapes, and the energy of life in the water. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the top surfers in Panama and collaborate on international surfing competitions, documenting athletes, events, and the unique atmosphere that surrounds the sport. Combining technical experience in filmmaking with an understanding of the ocean allows me to create visuals that feel immersive, dynamic, and authentic.

Ocean and surf photography have become much more than just a professional path for me. It’s a way to disconnect from the fast pace of everyday life, reconnect with nature, and find balance through creativity. Being in the water with a camera gives me a sense of calm, freedom, and inspiration that continues to shape both my personal perspective and visual storytelling style.
